The Work Of The Muesum Is So So Important To The People Of The Bogside In Derry.
I was brought up near letterkenny a 20 minute drive from the Bogside Derry and if i were asked the Event that made me sit up was Bloody Sunday 1972 and hearing about the battle of the bogside.
I was to young at 3 to know about the battle of the bogside,
But Bloody Sunday 1972 even though I was only 5 stuck with me ever since.
Its important to support the muesum because this helps to educate later generations what the People of the Bogside enjured during the troubles.
Its important that wider Irish and world society keeps hearing the story.
So people should visit the museum and failing that, Purchase from the museum shop and this helps the whole project.
